We are creating a 2026 Columbia Basin Conservation District calendar featuring local photos from Grant and Adams counties! Community members are invited to submit their best shots showcasing our landscapes, agriculture, water, wildlife, and the people who make our region special.

Contest Rules & Guidelines

Eligibility

• Open to all residents of Grant and Adams counties.

• All ages welcome (if minors submit, a parent/guardian must approve submission).

  
  

Photo Requirements

• Photos must be taken in Grant or Adams county.

• Digital photos only; high resolution preferred.

• Horizontal/landscape orientation is recommended (to fit calendar layout).

• Limit 3 photo entries per person.

• Photos must be original and taken by the entrant.

  
  

Themes & Subjects

• Agriculture, livestock, farming, and farm animals in our community

• Conservation practices (soil, water, wildlife habitat, pollinators, etc.)

• Scenic landscapes of Grant/Adams counties

• Local wildlife, plants, or people interacting with the land

• Seasonal variety encouraged (spring, summer, fall, winter)

Photo Release Acknowledgment

By submitting photos to the 2026 Calendar Contest, entrants acknowledge and agree to grant the Columbia Basin Conservation District permission to use their photo(s) in the calendar, on our website, social media, newsletters, and other outreach materials, with credit to the photographer. Entrants also confirm they have permission from any identifiable individuals in the photo (or a parent/guardian if under 18).
