Columbia Basin Conservation District (CBCD) is currently working with producers to apply for Sustainable Farms & Fields cost share through the Washington State Conservation Commission. Up to 50% of cost share is available for approved projects. Projects include no-till equipment, pasture and habitat plantings, dairy waste systems, compost and compost spreaders, precision ag technology, livestock fencing, and more.
Over the last two years, CBCD has helped secure $246,940 in cost share for on-the-ground conservation with 7 producers in Grant and Adams counties through WSCC's Sustainable Farms & Fields Program.
