Request for Proposals & Qualifications (RFP/RFQ): Engineering Services for Moses Lake Water Circulation Modeling

This project is a partnership between the Columbia Basin Conservation District (CBCD), and the Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology). Columbia Basin Conservation District seeks to initiate the creation of a computerized hydrodynamic (circulation) model for Moses Lake. This model will serve as a mechanism to analyze hydrodynamic patterns across the waterbody, assess potential operational adjustments considered by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation (USBR), and illustrate retention periods alongside localized circulation dynamics. Furthermore, the framework may function as the foundation for future water quality modeling designed to simulate phosphorus, nitrogen, and algal concentrations within the lake.

Proposals Due December 1, 2026.
