Floodfest is back at the Dry Falls Visitor Center on July 20th 2024! Start the day with a guided hike from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Lake Lenore Caves - Discovery Trailhead led by Kaley Wisher, Conservation Biologist at the Columbia Basin Conservation District and Sarah Overby, Washington State Parks Interpretive Specialist. There will be a focus on shrub-steppe ecology, with plant ID, track and scat ID, and possibly a visit to one of the Lenore Caves. Sarah Overby will be providing geological insights along the way.

After the hike, join the excitement at Floodfest with interactive displays and educational booths exploring the Ice Age history of the region. This annual event, hosted by Washington State Parks, celebrates and educates about the floods that shaped the Coulee Corridor. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn and explore!
