Save the Date: 2026 Crab Creek Summit & Farmer Field Days

Mark your calendars for the 2026 Crab Creek Summit, taking place on May 28, 2026, at the Wanapum Heritage Center. This annual gathering brings together landowners, conservation partners, and community members to collaborate on solutions that support a healthy and resilient Crab Creek watershed.

The day will feature a mix of presentations, discussions, and opportunities to connect with partners working across the watershed. Attendees can expect to hear updates on efforts in the Upper Crab Creek area, participate in collaborative roundtable conversations with agencies and Tribal partners, and explore booths and demonstrations during the midday break. The Summit will also include time for open discussion, giving participants a chance to share ideas and perspectives, and will conclude with a look at the state of agriculture and a call to action from local leadership. Lunch will be provided!

The official 2026 Crab Creek Summit t-shirt design has dropped! Shirts will be available for purchase exclusively at the Summit on May 28th. If you have your eye on one, you will have to join us in person.

These hands-on field days will give participants a firsthand look at conservation practices in action on working farms. Attendees will explore how local producers are implementing innovative approaches to improve water use efficiency, enhance habitat, and support sustainable agriculture.

Last year’s Summit was full of inspiring discussions, collaborative problem-solving, and hands-on learning. You can read all about the highlights in our article: Crab Creek Summit: Past, Present & Future of a Vital Watershed.
